What is Rally.io and the RLY Network?
Rally.io is a blockchain project providing “crypto for creative communities” operating on the RLY network built on Ethereum. The RLY ecosystem decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) is run by holders of the project’s Rally token (RLY). The RLY ecosystem DAO governs and aims to expand the utilities for the RLY token and RLY network applications. Moreover, the RLY network venture studios arm, "SuperLayer Labs", also follows a similar focus. With the mission of funding developers with ideas for RLY token utility, SuperLayer Labs hopes to “be for the Rally network what ConsenSys has been for Ethereum”. Rally Token (RLY)
The native multi-utility asset is crucial to the smooth-running operations and security of the RLY network and Rally.io platform. Further, there are four main utilities of the RLY token.

Rally Governance
During the initial development of the Rally crypto content platform, Rally.io, the project was a small centralized team of developers. As such, from October 15th of 2021, the project introduced “Rally Governance,” allowing the community of Rally token (RLY) holders to participate and navigate the direction of changes and development on the RLY network.

Users of the Rally crypto content platform will initially land on the “Overview” section of the creator coin page. Rally.io offers a “public ledger providing a high-level view into a coin's economy” on the “Activity” tab. Here, users can view community statistics surrounding a creator coin’s parameters and activity. The total number of supporters, transactions, RLY token backing, and creator coin circulating supply is publicly available for all creators. Plus, the “Activity” tab shows various statistics surrounding recent network activity, including the type of transaction, time, and value amount.
Creator NFTs
The Rally crypto content platform allows creators to deploy their own non-fungible token (NFT) assets. As NFTs have the capability of tokenizing just about anything, creators are free to choose the type of asset. This could be a song, graphic, video, experience, or all of the above combined!
To create a non-fungible token (NFT), creators must first be in possession of some native Rally tokens (RLY). Rally.io offers a breakdown guide for how to deploy assets through its platform, including all the relevant information a creator needs. Additionally, the Rally crypto content platform offers many different ways of introducing and selling NFTs. Creators can choose between “Buy Now”, “Auction”, “Open Edition”, and “Mint Only” models as different ways to “drop” NFTs into their communities. This means that creators can give away free NFTs using the Discord bot and coin bot dashboard.
Creators obtain a "Collection" page by proxy when generating non-fungible tokens (NFTs) with the Rally crypto content platform. Moreover, creators have full autonomy over the banner design and description fields of the collections. With a fully-customizable collection page, creators can share the link from the site to external social media platforms with ease.
Creator Dashboard
Available to creators only, the project offers a “Dashboard” tab for creators to view real-time analytics of the activity of their Rally creator coins. Creators can view the data over different periods ranging from the most recent seven days (7D) to 30 days (1M). Also, creators can choose to view the entire history (ALL) if they wish.
The dashboard tab displays details surrounding the holding, buying, and selling activity of creator coins. It provides insights into the number of new supporters, amount of buys, and sales within the set timeframe. Furthermore, creators can even view the number of “send” transactions and a leaderboard of the top 50 active users.
The leaderboard aggregates data from the most active users of a creator’s Rally creator coin. This includes the top buyers, sellers, senders, and movers. Top movers show the top three buy or sell transactions within the selected timeframe. Finally, the dashboard tab offers a link to view the overall RLY network general ledger activity. This can offer creators further insights when comparing analytics with other artists’ Rally creator coins.
Rally RLY Token Rewards (Community Activity Rewards)
The Rally crypto content platform offers the enthusiastic communities and fanbases of creators and artists to earn rewards for interacting and engaging with content. This is thanks to the relatively new addition of the Rally community activity rewards scheme. Alongside earning rewards with campaigns and activities from creator coin brands, the community will earn an additional reward in Rally tokens (RLY) “proportional to their holdings of that community’s coin”.
Available for the first eight years following launch, the community activity rewards are awarding active brands and communities RLY tokens in the Rally crypto ecosystem.
